For many years, The Trout has been at the heart of the local steam community. Twice a year, in June and November, you have the chance to get up close to fantastic machinery ranging from steam buses and rollers to a fully lit up showman’s engine. If you’re an enthusiast – or just love the sight and sound of steam – the Trout is the place for you.

And we love more modern kit, too… cars or bikes,  whether a Bugatti or a Ducati, there’s very often an interesting visitor to our car park, and many owners’ clubs meet here throughout the year. Our staff are real enthusiasts – drive over and see us!
